Arjan Lejour

Arjan Lejour is professor Taxation and Public Finance at Tilburg University and project leader at the sector Government Budget and Taxation of CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis. Between 2011 and 2018 Arjan was Programme Leader Taxation at CPB. He has also been Programme Leader and senior researcher in international economics at CPB, after obtaining his PhD in 1995. Arjan was been parttime assistant and associate professor at various universities in the Netherlands. Arjan is an expert in (international) business taxation, taxation of capital income and international tax avoidance and evasion. In the past he specialized in the trade behaviour of Dutch firms, and trade in services. He also participates in various national and international working groups and advisory boards.
