Arne Nagengast is a Senior Economist in the Macroeconomic Analysis and Projections Division at the Deutsche Bundesbank and a CESifo Research Network Fellow. Previously, he worked for the OECD and the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean. He has also been a visiting researcher at the Banque de France and the Banco de Portugal. Mr. Nagengast holds a BA and a PhD from the University of Cambridge and received his Master’s degree from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. His research interests encompass international trade, multinational firms, and causal inference.
