The CEPR Annual Meeting of the Macroeconomics and Growth (MG) programme 2025 will be held on 6-7 November 2025, in Manchester, generously supported and hosted by the University of Manchester, The Manchester Journal, and CEPR.
The meeting organisers are Ester Faia (Goethe University Frankfurt and CEPR), Nicola Fuchs-Schündeln (WZB Berlin, Goethe University Frankfurt and CEPR), and Ákos Valentinyi (University Of Manchester and CEPR)
The keynote speaker is Chad Jones (Stanford University).
Research in the MG programme covers long-run macroeconomic issues including:
- Economic growth;
- Inequality;
- Political economy;
- Structural change;
- Macroeconomic aspects of development
- Misallocation and Innovation
Funding
Some travel and accommodation funding can be provided to participants according to the CEPR Travel Guidelines. The organisers appreciate it if you are able to use your own research funds for attendance.
