Estelle Cantillon

Estelle Cantillon is FNRS Research Director and professor of economics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, associate member at the Toulouse School of Economics, research fellow at CEPR (London) and elected member of the Royal Academy of Arts and Sciences of Belgium. Her research lies at the boundary between market design and industrial organization. Cantillon has published on auctions, procurement, competition between exchanges, and assignment problems. Her current research focuses on carbon emissions markets, the design of electricity wholesale markets and climate transition policies.
