- In September €-coin stood at a level close to that of the previous month (0.48, compared with 0.47 in August).
- The indicator benefited from signs of resilience in manufacturing activity, while it was dampened by caution in consumer spending.
- The €-coin indicator developed by Banca d’Italia provides a summary index of the current economic situation in the euro area. The indicator is an estimate of quarterly GDP growth shorn of the most erratic components (seasonal variations, measurement errors and short-run volatility). €-coin is published monthly by Banca d’Italia and CEPR.
- The next publication dates for €-coin are Wednesday, 5 November 2025 and Wednesday, 3 December 2025 (to be confirmed).
