- The €-coin rose to 0.47 in August (from 0.36 in July).
- The new rise in the indicator was mainly influenced by the further improvement in qualitative indicators for industry, including forward-looking indicators, and the stability of those for services.
- The €-coin indicator developed by Banca d’Italia provides a summary index of the current economic situation in the euro area. The indicator is an estimate of quarterly GDP growth shorn of the most erratic components (seasonal variations, measurement errors and short-run volatility). €-coin is published monthly by Banca d’Italia and CEPR.
- The next publication dates for €-coin are Friday, 3 October 2025 and Wednesday, 5 November 2025 (to be confirmed).
