Guido Tabellini is the Intesa SanPaolo professor of political economics at Bocconi University, where he is currently Vice President and where was Rector between 2008 and 2012. Before returning to Europe, he taught at Stanford and UCLA. He is a foreign honorary member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a fellow and a past president of the Econometric Society, a Foreign Honorary Member of the American Economic Association, he received the Yrjo Jahnsson award by the European Economic Association, of which he is a past president.
