Johannes Pfeifer is a Professor of Macroeconomics at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Bonn. His research interests primarily focus on macroeconomics, with a particular emphasis on fiscal policy and uncertainty-driven business cycles. His research has appeared in academic journals such as the American Economic Review, the Journal of Monetary Economics, and the Journal of Political Economy. He is a member of the development team of the economic modeling software package Dynare.
