John Hooley

John Hooley is a Senior Economist in the IMF’s Fiscal Affairs Department, currently seconded to the OECD Economics Department. He was previously a Senior Economist at the Bank of England. He holds postgraduate degrees in economics from the London School of Economics and the University of Cambridge. His research spans a wide range of topics, including fiscal and monetary policy, financial stability, business investment, and climate-change economics.
