Her research focuses on household financial behavior, expectations, inequality, and housing. Julia previously held positions in the research departments of the Deutsche Bundesbank, the European Central Bank and in the Central Bank of Ireland. She holds a PhD in Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt and a MSc from Universita Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
