Research Project
Between the launch of the initiative in early 2020 and spring 2023, STEG has awarded 69 Small Research Grants, 42 PhD Research Grants, and 18 Larger Research Grants, as well as nine Ideas for Transformation. As of January 2023 the STEG Working Paper Series includes 15 papers from STEG-funded projects and events while several others have been produced by the programme’s academic leadership using STEG funding. As grants approach endline, we expect to see a rise in the number of working papers produced with many leading to publication in high-quality economic journals.
