Toshiyuki Matsuura

Toshiyuki Matsuura is an associate professor at the Keio Economic Observatory of Keio University as well as a visiting professor at KU Leuven in Belgium. Prior to coming to Keio, he worked at the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI) and Hitotsubashi University. He holds a Ph.D. from Keio University. His research interests includes the determinants and consequences of foreign direct investment (FDI) and the link between export behavior and firm performance. He has published in the European Economic Review, Oxford Economic Papers, World Development, Review of World Economics, and Journal of the Japanese and International Economies.
