Tullio Jappelli is Professor of Economics at the University of Naples Federico II, and a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). His main area of research is on consumption, saving, household finance and banking. He has published five books on saving and household finance and several papers in professional journals and books. His work has appeared in leading economic journals such as the AER, the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Finance, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and AEA Journals.
