Hiroyuki Nishiyama

Hiroyuki Nishiyama is a Professor at the University of Hyogo. His research expertise is in trade/FDI theory and international macroeconomic theory. His research has been published in book chapters, RIETI discussion papers, and various publications including Review of International Economics, International Review of Economics and Finance, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Economic Modelling, Pacific Economic Review, Environmental Economics and Policy Studies, Journal of Economic Integration, The International Economy, and International Economic Journal. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Hyogo in 2007. Prior to joining the University of Hyogo in 2006, he was an associate professor at Kindai University. As of 2025, he is serving as Vice Dean of School of Economics and Management, the University of Hyogo.
