Siddharth Kothari is Deputy Mission Chief for China in the Asia and Pacific Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Previously, he has worked on Australia and Samoa in the Asia Pacific Department, as well as in the Research Department and the African Department of the IMF. His research interests include macroeconomics, development, labor markets, and inequality. He obtained his PhD in Economics from Stanford University.
